About Me

I began developing our first product, URX, in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, together with Mikuláš Tycar, I co-founded HolTyc.

At HolTyc, I am responsible for all aspects of hardware and software development. My expertise includes 3D printing, circuit design, PCB creation, datasheet analysis, and more. I also built and maintain our high-availability Kubernetes server cluster (mainly thanks to skill from Livesport internship), located in our lab (my basement), which currently powers this website.

I am currently a student at Gymnázium Christiana Dopplera in Prague, where I study languages.

Work, Hobbies, and Exploration

Alongside my work at HolTyc, I am employed at the Czech Academy of Sciences in the Laboratory of Adaptive Immunity as a bioinformatics scientist. I have studied novel cell types using single-cell RNA sequencing, and I am currently focused on designing de novo protein binders. My research also gave me the opportunity to visit MIT and Harvard in Boston.

Outside of work, I enjoy climbing, working out at the gym, and riding motorcycles. I am fluent in English and German, skills I developed during my studies. I have been active in Scouting for over ten years, and I now serve as a group leader.

As a part-time project, I design custom electronic devices and program smart home systems using Loxone and KNX technologies.

My competitions

I have received recognition in several competitions, including winning the Prague round of a programming competition and the Open Science competition organized by the Czech Academy of Sciences (video link).

Together with HolTyc, I have also participated in events such as StreTech at CTU, SOČ (the High School Professional Activity competition), and Maker Faire 2023.
